Apprezzo molto il fatto che in quest'espansione stiano puntando più a stampare carte interessanti e "da scoprire", piuttosto che evidentemente forti... ad esempio tutti e 5 gli zenith sono belle carte, ma non così facilmente impiegabili nei vari mazzi esistenti nel T2.
Oppure tutti i permanenti con effetti quando lasciano il campo, che richiedono un deeckbuilding adeguato per essere sfruttate bene.
Anche per l'infect, sono uscite parecchie carte interessanti, ma non tutte di facile inserimento (in questo momento ci sono varie scelte da fare per chi voglia migliorare un infect da T2)...

Credo che finora, su una novantina di carte spoilerate, le uniche che mi son balzate agli occhi come forti in un impiego "ovvio" siano:

- blightsteel colossus, nei T1 che giocano tinker, per una chiusura in un attacco solo (anzichè i due attacchi del colosso vecchio o i 3 del leviatano)

- thrun, il troll asceta ciccione, nella side dei mazzi a base verde T2 tipo manaramp (in aggiunta a Gaea's Revenge) per guadagnare altri punti sui controlli blu post-side (non muore nemmeno da day of judgement...)

- phyrexian revoker, l'ago che cammina (ma non anti-terre!), contro i planeswalker in T2 e potenzialmente ottimo anche per il legacy (es. nel main deck di affinity, anti-deed anti-esplosivi ecc.)

- phyrexian rebirth, la nuova ira bianca che mette l'orrore x/x, per EDH ovviamente

- sempre per EDH, la consecrated sphinx (tu peschi? io pesco doppio), un filino esagerata in un formato multiplayer che permette di usare i drop a 6 con tranquillità

Più grande delusione del set (e sicuramente prima rara che troverò!), Distant Memories, sorcery blu, versione brutta di una rara brutta di Alleanze (Library of Lat Nam, che aveva circa lo stesso effetto, costava 1 mana in più ma era instant, inoltre lasciava scegliere l'avversario PRIMA che potesse vedere la carta tutorata! Quindi pessima)

Che ridere Decimator Web, potevano sottotitolarla "come vincere la partita in tre modi diversi... tutti e tre lentissimi!!!" Sarebbe stata carina se avesse lasciato scelta di assegnazione dei tre effetti a tre opponent diversi, in tal modo sarebbe rimasta invariata nei duelli, ma molto più divertente in EDH!
